I have sony a700 right now and i want to buy a macro lens for it but i want to know that is there a chance for me to buy a lens which i can use it for another camera too. for example if i buy a canon camera can i use the same lens or that's not possible?

I have the nikon 1 j1 camera, I'm considering buying the 10mm nikkor f/2.8 BUT, I want to be able to capture good bokeh, I know my camera has a small sensor, I know there's other lenses out there that will achieve a better bokeh, But for most of them I gotta buy that bulky adapter, suggestions?

I have a canon 50D and im thinking about purchasing a film camera for school. The lens on my canon is the standard one that came with it. Im thinking about buying a film canon SLR and just wanted to know if the lens from my 50D would work with any. And if it only works with particularly SLR's which ones.
Also if anyone has any recommendations on what film camera to get that would help too.

i want to have opinion about these three lenses, or may be recommendation
for budget wide angle lenses for APS-C (Canon 550d )

In my research im considering 4 lenses for my camera
-Tokina Lens AF 11-16mm f2.8 PRO DX for Canon
-Tokina Lens AF 12-24mm Pro DX II f/Canon
-Canon Lens EF-S 10-22mm F3.5-4.5 USM
-Canon Lens EF 17-40mm F4.0 L USM (may be not wide, but some ppl recommend this)

Anyone know which lens is good for wide angle and for APS-C or may be have another
