camera lenses discount

I am looking for a digital camera (dSLR or not) under $1,000 and good for landscapes. Suggestions?

I have experience with a film 35mm and medium format, as well as a pretty good Canon point & shoot. I would like to be able to use some of my old Nikor lenses but that is not essential. Mostly I am interested in image quality, which I understand usually means a large sensor. I would consider a moderately wide angle fixed lens. One camera I am interested in is the FujiFilm X10.

i got a digital camera for xmas. (nikon camera if it makes a difference)
i accidently turned power off while it was recording, and then when i turned it back on it said "lens error"
now when i try to turn it on the lens tries to extend but i guess its stuck because it just makes a loud clicking sound and it vibrates as it tries it get longer..... i couldnt get it to stop so i had to take the battery out and now when i put it back in it gets stuck in this loud violent clicking and will not even shut off.

is there something i can do?

I would be using the camera mainly for pictures of my completed remodel jobs. Sometimes is low or bad light, and usually in confined areas. I know the lens has alot to help with that. A wide angle possibly. I need a camera that will last and takes excellent pictures. Any suggestions? I might start with the Cannon EOS rebel xsi

Hi guys i need a digital SLR camera to buy for around 1000$, i really want to shoot some cinematic quality pictures. I have really no idea about lens and camera. Please suggest me some camera and lens together around for 1000$. May be i won't be using advanced digital camera features so i don't want to waste money for those features.

Nikon Camera Lens Question?

So, I bought a new Nikon D5100 with the kit lens for 0 at this camera shop. The store said they had a special and they could also get me the 55-200mm telephotolens for 0.

Would it be wise to go for this lens at that price? I might need a telephotolens in the future so please give me some insight on what's good out there, am I wasting my money?

The lens on my digital Kodak Camera won't extend all the way out. When I push the power button to turn it on, it comes out then goes back inside. It's fully charged. Can this be repaired @ home?

IF i buy a 35mm SLR film camera(body only**) will the camera still take pictures? And can i buy a 50mm lens to go with it, like will it fit onto the camera?
